On Friday, 23-year-old Latina Williams killed two of her fellow students at Louisiana Technical College. Authorities report she was armed with a .375 revolver when she shot at 21-year-old Karsheika Graves and 26-year-old Taneshia Butler who were both from Baton Rouge. According to reports, she entered the victims’ classroom briefly, spoke with the instructor, and left. She then returned through another door, fired six rounds, reloaded, and shot herself in the head. Officers ran into the building within 4 minutes of the first 911 call. An officer said it has not yet been known why the two women were targeted.
