According to videogame magazine Game Informer, Ratchet & Clank creators Insomniac Games are hard at work on a sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man, the best-selling PlayStation 3 game to date. Game Informer says Resistance 2 is scheduled for a holiday launch with one single-player campaign focusing on Nathan Hale, one separate story-based campaign supporting two players offline and eight players online. Online multiplayer support will reportedly support up to 60 people, and includes standard infantry, special ops, and medic player types. The game will also support “mobile phone quality” voice chat, boss fights, new vehicles, and online stat tracking.
