Staten Island authorities report that a burglary this week seems to fit the pattern of 18 previous heists attributed to a costumed crook known only as the “Ninja Bandit.” The intruder was named such because he wielded a set of nunchucks when he scuffled with a homeowner in his kitchen in September. According to reports, the latest happened between Wednesday and Friday at a Castleton Corners home. The thief reportedly entered the home through a sliding door and left with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. Other resident report encounters with the bandit but the suspect always manages to escape.
