Fred DePasquale, owner of The Medicine Shoppe in Pittsburgh, apparently gave his in-laws a winning Pennsylvania Lottery ticket now worth $1 million. According to reports, he gave them one $20 ticket for the special lottery drawing. The lottery featured only 625,000 tickets, including 5 million-dollar winners. The state’s Lottery Commission will be giving DePasquale $5,000 because the ticket was purchased from his pharmacy. When asked in an interview if he wanted the winning ticket back, he was quoted as saying “that would be like giving someone a shirt for Christmas, and then asking to wear it on New Year’s Eve.
