The New York Times reports that trainer Brian McNamee’s lawyer says Roger Clemens will be slapped with a lawsuit if the seven-time Cy Young winner says in a “60 Minutes” interview that McNamee lied when he said he injected Clemens with performance-enhancing drugs. Richard Emery, who specializes in libel and defamation actions, told the Times that Clemens should try to keep the interview from airing. “We're not going to sue him if he doesn't do it. But if he does it, we're going to sue him,” Emery said. The interview was taped Friday and is scheduled for airing Sunday night.
