A 75-year-old man from Cave Creek in Arizona was reportedly rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being mauled by his pet buffalo. Authorities say the man, whose name was not immediately released, had saddled the buffalo and was attempting to ride it when he was bucked off and got trampled. The man was airlifted to a Scottsdale hospital after the incident at his home about 20 miles north of Phoenix Monday. The man owns two buffalos that were kept on the property, John Kraetz, a district chief for the Rural/Metro Fire Department said, “it's pretty darn uncommon.”
