Three pets in Maryland are currently enjoying their $400,000 inheritance that came with a house in Hagerstown. The beagle and two Labrador mixes named Buckshot, Katie, and Obu-Jet were presented the estate when their owner, Ken Kemper, died last year. In total the estate is valued at about $800,000. The three dogs were strays when Kemper adopted them. They now live at their inherited home with a loyal caretaker. The executor of Kemper's estate said that when the dogs die, she will probably donate the remainder of the estate to an animal charity because that's what Kemper would have wanted.
