On Thursday, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) reported that Philippine customs officials have seized inflatable sex dolls which the group had planned to use in its Asian campaign against alleged abuses of chickens by KFC. According to the group, suppliers for KFC scald chickens to death and cut of their beaks while still conscious. The dolls were meant to tour red light districts in the Philippines, Thailand, and Japan where they were to display a banner reading “KFC Blows.” The dolls arrived in Manila through a US-based parcel service and were immediately confiscated by customs officials.
