Tink, a Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix, is being praised for helping the California Highway Patrol catch one of four thieves. Police were responding to a report of a minivan stolen by three juveniles and an adult. The fugitives crashed the vehicle into a hillside near Wendy Anderson’s home in the Sierra foothill town east of Sacramento. Anderson said their pet found 20-year-old Marvin Gonzales hiding under a neighbor’s motorhome and chased him into the woods where he was eventually arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting arrest. The three other suspects were juveniles from the San Francisco Bay area, police said.
