Despite racy photos that recently appeared in a gossip magazine, 22-year-old Valerie Begue will not be stripped off the Miss France 2008 title she won on December 8. However, organizers of the pageant said that she will not be allowed to take part in upcoming international competitions including the Miss World or Miss Universe pageants. The pageant’s criteria stipulate that candidates must “never have posed of exhibited [themselves] in dubious outfits or poses, partially or totally nude. Because of her photos published in Entrevue magazine, she will be replaced in international pageants by first runner-up, Vahinerii Requillart, Miss New Caledonia.
