Loved ones receive Christmas greetings from dead man
Thirty-four loved ones of Chet Fitch, an Oregon man who died in October at age 88, report receiving handwritten Christmas greetings from him with a return address of “Heaven.” Apparently, the cards were planned for two decades with his 57-year-old barber, Patty Dean. She said he kept updating the list and giving her extra money when postal rates went up. During the fall, he looked up to her from the chair and said “You must be getting tired of waiting to mail those cards… I think you’ll probably be able to mail them this year.” He died one week later.
