The fires in San Diego County have spread over a massive area. Currently San Diego has instituted massive mandatory evacuations, including a single mandatory evacuation for anyone living between the four freeways: Interstate 5, Highway 78, Interstate 15 and Highway 56. CURRENTLY THE AUTHORITIES ARE ASKING ALL RESIDENTS TO STAY OFF THEIR CELL PHONES, KEEPING THE LINES OPEN FOR EMERGENCIES. Over a quarter million people have already been ordered to evacuate their homes. The situation is still deteriorating.
